Technical Services
AV Ballistics (AVB) supplies the following services:
- Repair and maintenance of Foreign Military Firearms for the
ADF;
- Familiarization and evaluation of new and foreign firearms
for Police, Security and ADF purposes;
- Ammunition evaluation and testing, including velocity and
pressure testing for product liability and ammunition development
purposes, and safety criteria testing for ammuntion users (Inspectorate
of Explosives, Police, Gun Clubs, private individuals).
- Training in the technical aspects of Firearms maintenance
and use (AVB is NOT a "Firearms Instructor" in the
meaning of the Weapons Act 1990 (Qld)).
- Manufacture of Blank Firing Firearms for Film and Re-enactment
users; manufacture of training Firearms for Government, Security
and ADF users.
- Consultancy in all matters relating to technical aspects of
Firearms manufacture and use, (Legal, Industrial, Military).
